Dr Aleksandar Orlović is the Associate Professor at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, Department of Organic Chemical Technology. He received his MSc degree in 1995 and PhD degree in 2001. His professional interests are focused on: supercritical fluids and their applications in materials processing, processing of aerogels, chemical reaction engineering, chemical kinetics, mathematical modelling of chemical engineering processes, sol-gel obtained catalytic materials, catalysis and aerogels in catalysis. His international experience includes a position of research associate at the Chemical Engineering Department of Texas A&M University (USA), where he conducted experiments in catalysis of Fischer-Tropsch synthesis and position of Fuel technologist with Advanced Diesel Engineering group of Delphi, Gillingham in UK.
